Sleep disruption can have several causes in ALS. Morning headaches and daytime sleepiness can be breathing warning signs and should be discussed with the clinical team.

Positioning and nighttime support

Ask the care team about safe repositioning, bed positioning, secretion management, pain or cramp support, and whether respiratory testing is needed.
